I have refrained from commenting on the Miley Cyrus story. But I just saw Donny Osmond's reaction and I have to say a few things.
1. Donny Osmond is like the butt crack sand in the bathing suit of life. He's annoying, irritating, and no matter how hard you try to ignore it or rid it of your life, it sticks to you like a superhero cling on.
2. Vanity Fair rarely shoots a woman not drapped in freaking sheets. They were the first to drape a pregnant woman on the cover...and what? She was draped in a sheet.
3. Nasty photos that are too provocative...look at the Lindsay Lohan photos of her posing like Marilyn Monroe. Those are nasty.
4. Annie Lebovitz is a lesbian. She appreciates the beauty of a woman. She's a class act. She's not a perv.
5. Compared to freaking Jamie Lynn Spears and her 7 month protruding belly at age 16...mmm...I think Miley is getting way more negative press. Perhaps if Miley had a big disaster of a Big Sis, then maybe there were be some leeway???
I have nothing more to say about this, except little girls don't buy Vanity Fair and wouldn;t have known a damn thing about this if the pervy news media hadn't raised the level of awareness.

I didn't really understand what all the uproar was about. I don't like the shot as much as I like most of Annie Leibowitz' work, but I didn't think it was trashy. And even if she has super young fans, she is 15, and the sexy thing is not unreasonable at that age.
Yep, totally agree. Much ado about nothing. it's like worse than the outrage of the pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears, for fuck's sake.
